"Virtual Machine Scale Sets (VMSS)" (hands-on workshop)
Scalability for IaaS: In Azure we call these Virtual Machine Scale Sets (or VMSS in short). In the case of scaling out/in we are adding/removing VM’s to/from the scale set.
The main advantage here is that this can be fully automated based upon realtime performance metrics and that no downtime or manual user intervention is required.
